Festival 451

Festival 451 is a month long event series held by the Ray Bradbury Center promoting adult literacy using the themes of author Ray Bradbury. Events included a film series at Can Can with discussions following, a multilingual poetry night at Indy Reads, an author discussion at the Madam Walker Center featuring two authors in the genre of Afro-futurism, and the world premiere of the Adversary at the District Theater. I assisted in outreach prior to the events, set up, and outreach at the information table at each event. I also created a participant survey to help guide future Festival 451 activities.
